About the Artist; Hello, my name is Mike Kapsimalis, and my journey with handmade wooden flutes started about 10 years ago. I focus mainly on using Pacific Northwest sustainable hardwoods as much as possible, although I do use some exotic hardwoods for embellishments that come from up-cycled material I collect from various work I am involved with. The design of the flutes I make are Native American Style Flutes. Although, I do offer various tuning's from different cultures throughout the world, making these, multi-cultural wind instruments.
